The coffee growers of Bruselas, Pitalito have small farms with an average size of 3 hectares, where many of the chores are carried out by the whole family while teaching their kids the passion for their craft. They are invested in implementing more sustainable practices at the farms to protect their natural resources and environment while producing high quality coffee. Besides coffee, they also have other smaller crops such as avocado, tomato, plantain and lulo. The varieties included in this lot are Caturra, Bourbon and Castillo, grown at 1,300 – 1,900 MASL The steep and rugged mountains, excellent climate and hardworking people make this coffee an outstanding and special offering from the heart of the Colombian Andes.
