This coffee is produced by smallholders of OCCICAFE Coop / Non-For-Profit from San Vicente, Huila. OCCICAFE was founded in 2004 by about 200 coffee growers from the region with the aim of improving the living conditions of its associates and their families, based on a framework of solidarity, joint responsibility and social equality.
Coffee farmers from this region deliver their coffee to the OCCICAFE lab where each lot is scored and classified. Coffees from this region, such as this San Vicente, need to score above 86 and have a moisture content between 10-11% to meet the Regional Plus (Specialty) standard.
